Huffington Post covers two day event in Ukiah, CA

Final Footprint is helping green the funeral industry with her exhibition at the annual fundraiser for the Solar Living Institute.

The XIVth annual event has Robert Kennedy and Arianna Huffington as keynote speakers this year. Come and join the crowd learning more about all things green. The house of wheels is there too. Its so cute.

Dying could cost you more money

...This has followed an exchange that started with the high cost of cremating or burying someone who was extra heavy (over 300 lbs.). The Glendale Nature Preserve charges $1,800 for opening and closing for regular sized person, $2,800 for a heavy person because there is more digging and heavier lifting. They take the dirt out in layers and put them back in the same fashion, hand dug.

Yet another Prenead Funeral Home scam.

Listed in this article are all the funeral homes involved in this lastest preneed scam.
If anyone knows someone who has arranged a preneed funeral, or is thinking about doing so, I thoroughly recommend you read this article first.  Preneed is just a waste of  your money. You are lending it to funeral homes, and this story explains what happens when you inadvertently select a rogue one. Put the money you think you will need in a savings account of some sort and collect interest on it.
